Peter Finch's achorman character in the classic movie, Network, seems more precient today than he was in 1976. We should be thinking about a better ending for today's real world, though.

"Network" was a prophetic film that was deemed far-fetched in its initial release. Now, the information we need to understand the world rises or falls by ratings, meaning it has to be "entertaining" enough to appeal to the lowest common denominator..We have "Mad Prophets" who spew far more damaging and ridiculous comments on the air than poor Howard Beale (Peter Finch). Great film..thanks for bringing it back!
