Use it if you see a window of hope to help people understand how human behavior is helping what would be a cycle that takes millions of years -- plenty of time for evolutionary adaptations -- spiral out of control within the next couple of generations.
One island already has been permanently inundated, gone, and 10,000 people left homeless. Not New Orleans. This island is off India. And it's just the tip of the iceberg, no melting pun intended.
